I am happy to announce, that all but a new dryer and this room is complete. Since the dryer I currently have is working absolutely fine, it may be a while until that happens, so lets just call it complete.
As a mom of 3 kids and 2 fur kids, laundry is a never ending task. Gathering it, washing, folding, and putting it away happens in some form every single day. Oddly enough, I am always behind on it too. Having a room to contain all the mess is a blessing. I am happy to say, after this reno, I have a workspace that I love.
Lets begin with the original laundry room:
This is literally the picture from the inspection before we bought the house. You really aren't missing anything higher then the window. The folding table has a lovely rust colored stain across it.
Definitely makes you want to fold clean clothes on there. I tried a multitude of products and never could get the stain out.
After an inspiring picture on pinterest, you can find here. I took on this weekend long project. The
final product: One of my favorite rooms in the house, it looks huge, clean, and I love it.
Once we tile the floors, get rid of the fluorescent light, and replace the dryer, this room will be nothing more then perfect.
